…is a great month for European literature, with both the London Book Fair (April 11-13th) and the Geneva Book Fair (April 29th to May 3rd) happening within less than three weeks of each other.
Visiting a book fair can be an inspiring experience. Book publishers, agents, book sellers and writers come to discuss future books, network, and see what is new in the writing and publishing world. If you are a writer, it can be a daunting experience, but one that will put the industry into a healthy perspective. If you are a reader and a book lover, this can be paradise for a day (or even two).
For a not-excessive entrance fee one can browse through thousands of books, breath in the literary ambiance and listen to authors talk about their books and their writing. Don’t miss this opportunity – you will certainly enjoy it and learn from it.
